FSX CAPTAIN SIM 757 MANUAL
But.Note that if you don't do the method with the FMC, you will have to wait for the aircraft's laser ring gyros to manually align themselves, which takes anything up to fifteen minutes on a real aeroplane (depending on where it is on the planet), since they work by detecting the inertia on the aircraft from the rotation of the Earth, to determine the aircraft's position, which is why it is called an inertial reference system.Be careful to wait the ten minutes or so if you do the manual align method (actually it is also possible to key it in if you know your position, which is why there is a keypad on the nav panel, and that is quicker, but don't worry about that unless you like all that realism stuff). When you've done either of those things, you can then go and switch the navigation switches to either the 'NAV' or the 'ATT' positions (notice it says ATT on your primary flight display, which is what it is asking you to do), and your instruments should come alive. Alternatively, you can open up the CDU (FMC) and choose the 'POS INIT' (position initialisation) page and click on the line select key alongside where it has your map coordinates, which will put them in the scratchpad, and then you can click on the line select key alongside the empty position boxes to put that coordinate in (effectively this is copying and pasting). Either, look on the overhead and move the selector switch on the navigation system panel to 'PPOS', and then turn the nav system switches to the 'ALIGN' position. Click on Virus & threat protection, then Virus & threat protection settings>Exclusions.Looks like you haven't aligned the IRS (Inertial Reference System) to me.So you need to do one of two things. I have also excluded some of the files in C:\ related to FSX/P3D from scans. You can exclude files and folders from being scanned by Defender and I have excluded all of my G drive as it contains my FSX and P3Dv4 installations.
FSX CAPTAIN SIM 757 WINDOWS 10
It's amazing Windows Defender quarantined one of their own Microsoft Windows 10 file to stop me from using ASP4. When I figured out Defender had a file related to ASP4 and restored it, the Defender techs looked disappointed I had found the problem.
FSX CAPTAIN SIM 757 UPDATE
I never had any problems opening ASP4 before but had a recent Windows 10 update and that problem added the new Defender restriction.

I saw a couple of techs laughing when they stopped me from opening ASP4. You can see an image in your mind of a Window 10 tech smiling when he/she has successfully quarantined one of your add-ons without your knowledge.
FSX CAPTAIN SIM 757 UPGRADE
Windows 10 has a higher level of security than Windows 7 so it stops programs from working correctly when you upgrade to Windows 10. It showed it was a "Severe" threat and gave you serious looking warnings when you try to enable it but these threats do not apply for your FSX add-ons. I always enable anything that stops one of my apps from stopping. I had a Win32 file quarantined (Unwaders.A!ml) so I restored it and the program showed "Allowed Threats". It will show you all the files quarantined, the program it stopped from running, and provide you the option of restoring the file. Once open, click on Virus & Threat Protection. Search for Windows Security, look in menu and click on it. Defender will never tell you when it quarantines a needed file and just does it. Getting a bit desperate here.Īgree with Charlie but first check the Quarantine section of Defender and make sure no file associated with CS 757 has been quarantined. Is there anyone out there who might give me some help as to how get this now whiteĮlephant going? I would appreciate it very much. Sitting here with a new expensive plane which I cannot use. I've tried to contact CS's support but no option is available for my problem and no chance given to write directly to them and explain the problem. To reload fsx again and use other planes. I hope it is not installed on the wrong file within the simulation but it comes with its own installer. So, summarizing the problem, it installs, but the plane does not load. One can wait quite a few minutes but it never loads the chosen plane. But my main problem is that as I choose the CS 757 it never actually loads the plane. I followed all steps when installing but I see theĤ planes with the logo 'CaptainSim' and no variations.

I bought CaptainSim's 757 FSX and after installing it I cannot get it to load on to the simulation.
